The vast majority of the prerequisite courses required to apply to the previously listed professional programs are embedded into the HSC major and concentration. There are a handful of courses outside of the major and concentration that students will need to complete before applying to the respective graduate program. 常见的例子如下:

The Pre-Professional 健康care concentration is designed for those students who have an interest in attending other allied healthcare programs after graduation.

Students are generally placed at 吃午饭 Mercy Hospital or at local Physical Therapy and Chiropractic clinics. Students have the choice to complete their internship over the summer if they want to work close to home. The 医疗管理 concentration is designed to allow students obtain employment in a healthcare setting and also complete all pre-requisite coursework to be eligible for the PlusOneAdvantage® Scholarship for the MBA program at Heidelberg.

Eligible applicants must currently be enrolled at Heidelberg with successful completion of at least 101 undergraduate credit hours; the Masters of Athletic Training program prerequisite courses; 入学 requirements and, successful completion of course requirements with a major in 健康科学 or Exercise Science before being admitted to the program. Accepted 3+2 year applicants will begin the Masters of Athletic Training Program in August, 在学期开始之前. Heidelberg students who have a strong background in health sciences, anatomy & physiology and psychology are eligible for the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) at Wilmington College. Wilmington is offering guaranteed early 入学 to up to three Heidelberg graduates who meet the prerequisite criteria for the MSOT program. Students from any undergraduate major are eligible as long as they have completed the seven prerequisite courses and have maintained a minimum 3.0的绩点. 该项目为期24个月, with the first two semesters on campus and the third and fourth semesters in the field.
